Founded in 1968 to attack this injustice, the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, charitable organization dedicated to the principle that no one should be forced to pay dues or fees to a union just to get or keep a job.
The National Right to Work Foundation conducts a strategic legal program with a two-fold objective:
- Protect individual workers from abuse, intimidation and retaliation by union officials with compulsory unionism power.
- Curtail and ultimately end Big Labor’s coercive forced-dues power through precedent-setting court action.
The Foundation’s legal program is coupled with a cutting-edge public information strategy designed to educate workers and all Americans about the dangers of compulsory unionism, while generating increased media attention and public scrutiny.
No other national organization carries out this crucial mission, and few, if any, nonprofit legal organizations can match the Foundation’s record of precedent-setting victories — including multiple victories at the U.S. Supreme Court.
The successes of the National Right to Work Foundation have been made possible by the generous support of concerned Americans who agree with the principle that no worker should be forced to join a labor organization or pay union dues or fees just to get or keep a job.
That’s why we hope we can count on you to make a tax-deductible contribution to the Foundation to help defend workers from the abuses of government-imposed compulsory unionism.
